Henfaes Agroforestry Site

Agroforestry at Henfaes, Bangor University

The site was established in 1992 by the University of Wales, Bangor (now Bangor University/Prifysgol Bangor).

In addition to the four treatments common to all the National Network sites 1) agricultural control with no trees 2) sycamore at 100 trees ha-1 3) scyamore at 400 trees ha-1 4) sycamore at 2500 trees ha-1 as a forestry control with no grazing, red alder (Alnus rubra) were planted at 400 and 2500 trees ha-1.
