The Yield-SAFE and Farm-SAFE computer models were developed as part of the EU SAFE project, and have since been modified by the EU AGFORWARD project.
Yield-SAFE is a biophysical model of the interactions between trees and crops in silvoarable agroforestry that works in two dimensions and across daily intervals. Farm-SAFE applies the outputs of Yield-SAFE to farming scenarios.
